Privacy
This page explains what information we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how to have it erased. Plainly, without legal jargon.
Who is responsible
The site is run by Hervé Checchini, Hoofddorp, the Netherlands. For any question or request about your data, please use the form at the bottom of this page.
What we collect
Your email address, if you sign up to hear about new dates or if you write to us. Your town, if you choose to give it, so we know where the show is awaited. The content of the postcards you send from the site, along with the recipient's address, for as long as it takes to deliver them. Your name, if you give it. Nothing else: we ask for no postal address, no date of birth, and no sensitive data.
Why
To tell you about new dates, if you asked us to. To reply, if you write to us. To deliver the postcards you send. We do nothing else with this information: it is never sold, rented, or passed to anyone for commercial purposes.
Your consent
We never sign you up without your explicit agreement: the checkbox is empty by default, and nothing is recorded until you tick it. We keep the date, time and page of that sign-up, so we can show that your consent was given.
How long
We keep your email address for as long as you wish to hear from us, and for up to three years after our last exchange if we hear nothing further. Postcards sent from the site are kept for two years, then deleted.
Who else has access
Our data is held with Supabase (database) and emails are sent through Resend, both acting solely on our behalf. The site is hosted by Netlify. We measure visits with Umami, which sets no cookies and follows no one individually. Videos are served by YouTube in cookie-free mode.
Your rights
You may at any time ask to see your data, correct it, or have it erased — and unsubscribe in one click from the link at the foot of every email we send. Use the form below; we reply within a month. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
